Very little seems to be known about this van, but clearly the windscreen and doors are from a Karmann cabrio. Probably made as a prototype vehicle that never made it into production, as the Type 147 (Fridolin) was eventually used by the Bundespost. The van has an Oval dash but non-ribbed doors and is quoted as being built in 1957. Does anyone have any more information about this prototype?
